Twitter provides an API that exposes most of its functionality to developers. As the platform has matured, a diverse community has grown with hundreds of thousands of participants and applications, including the recently redeveloped Twitter.com. The Twitter developer community does an outstanding job of supporting one another but given the platform's continual evolution, it’s necessary to have official company voices regularly working with the community, assisting strategic partners, and supporting ongoing efforts. We need your help to build and maintain developer happiness.
As a Mobile Developer Advocate, you will be responsible for evangelizing the integration opportunities of Twitter’s platform across all mobile devices, and especially those running on iOS. You’ll put your strong Objective-C coding skills to work, and you will also use your solid writing and presentation skills on a regular basis. Your goal is to spur adoption of the Twitter platform amongst application developers building for a variety of mobile devices including the iPhone, the iPod, and the iPad. You’ll be expected to work well with a variety of teams here at Twitter including software engineering, product management, operations, business development as well as with our partner companies.
