In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Receptionist is responsible for answering phone calls and greeting patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner. Demonstrates friendliness and courtesy, effective communication creates a professional environment and provides first class service. Serves as initial contact for patients, general public, physicians and other hospital personnel. Greets and directs patients & visitors appropriately. Answers phone calls, obtains information to triage and transfer calls. Sort and distribute mail.

High school graduate or equivalent. Effective Communication Skills. Ability to organize and utilize work hours effectively and with minimal supervision.
