Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of an APA -approved internship and all other requirements for a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA -approved program.

Desired Qualifications:
Previous training in counseling center settings and multicultural counseling is highly desired.

Job Duties

Function:
Participates in outreach services to meet the mental health needs of the university community, i.e., academic support programs, educational workshops, and personal skill development groups under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.

Function:
Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, provides clinical services; individual assessment to determine treatment recommendations, brief counseling interventions, career counseling and testing, and group counseling. This includes on-call responsibilities.

Function:
Documents therapy in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records, implements and adheres to policies which ensure patient confidentiality.

Function:
Assists with the delivery of special services in response to current events.

Function:
Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
