Robert Half Technology is a working with a key client to fill a critical Business Analyst role Please send your resume for review and consideration to brianwoolfreyrhtcom or rhtcharlotte Scope Candidate will help in collecting requirements for a multiyear project and see its implementation through to production by documenting and clarifying requirements all along as well as helping during QA in context of a software development cycle Candidate will have to be in front of bank staff at their location and gathering requirements in a multiparty setting (other vendors involved in the same project) Then requirements have to be documented and signed off for the technical staff in the US Familiar with Use Cases and UML to capture functional requirements as flows state diagrams and logical system diagrams Relatively senior and the type that can function independently with minimal support Travel is expected as part of customer engagements Around 33 average Candidates with payments and banking backgrounds are required Experience in product implementations with external clients are also preferred Specifically candidates who have a demonstrated ability to maintain long term client relationships on multimillion dollar implementations while representing employers interests (scope management schedule management guiding the client in the right direction in terms of costscopeschedule while still earning clients respect etc) Experience in SDLC with highly available systems (queues straight through processing J2EE Relational Databases etc) is desirable Experience with such systems would help frame the requirements in the right context Lead contribute andor provide feedback on test planning and test cases Assist with traceability matrix creation and maintenance lead UAT and training sessions with customers and work closely or as part of the testing team during the testing and transition phase of the projects Job Requirements Skills and Experience 5+ years experience as Business Analyst in BankingPayments Excellent spoken and written communication Experience in delivery of large software product customization projects Experience with Requirements gathering tools and methodologies (Visio UML Rational etc) Experienced in the Banking Sector specifically Payments Processing Aware of SDLC management methodologies and processes Capable of managing customer relationships successfully in a multinational and multiparty setting Experience in QAtesting Relational Databases and UI design is a big plus Exposure to enterprise technologies like J2EE is a plus 33 travel
