Phlebotomy Technician PRN jobs
The Phlebotomy Technician procures blood samples from patients of all ages and is responsible for phlebotomy services for in-house and outpatient locations. Distributes and fills specimen transport and phlebotomy supply orders for all lab clients. Procures and delivers STAT and Timed specimens according to Laboratory policy. Registers and scans patients correctly ensuring that all appropriate information is supplied. Participates in quality assurance monitors to ensure proper labeling and collection of patent specimens and reduce mislabeling and specimen collection errors.
Qualifications/Specifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Licensure/Certification:
Professional Experience: Minimum of one year current working experience as phlebotomist required. Must have good organizational and communication skills, and valid driver’s license.
