Part-time Clinical Dietitian to serve as a nutrition consultant to the Department of Aging and Office of Long Term Living. As the State Unit on Aging, the Department is responsible to administer various Older Americans Act (OAA) programs. Staff members in the Division provide programmatic oversight to 52 Area Agencies for the following OAA programs: Senior Community Services Employment, Senior Centers, Family Caregiver Support, and Nutrition Services.

The Division has one full-time staff position responsible for programmatic oversight of the nutrition and senior center programs. This includes providing programmatic oversight to the 52 Area Agencies on Aging as they deliver nutrition education and services through home-delivered and congregate meal programs. The person in this position will work collaboratively with that staff person on projects related to nutrition.

Responsibilities include: Policy evaluation and development, technical assistance to the Area Agencies on Aging, monitoring of nutrition programs, and nutrition education.

Work schedule is 20 hours per week. Suggested schedule is working 3 days per week: Monday and Wednesday (7.5 hours per day) and Friday (5 hours) between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.


Registration or proof of eligibility for registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
