Philips Healthcare Cleveland, Ohio is currently recruiting for a Hardware Specialist to join our Advanced Diagnostics Imaging (ADI) organization.

Your Challenge:
The CIRS Hardware Specialist owns the Image Reconstruction computer, Host computer, and peripherals from a total lifecycle perspective.

In this role you will be challenge to take ownership of new product development, operating system licensing, installed base support, addressing obsolete parts, and providing leadership and support to Service, Operations and Supply Chain.

Your Responsibilities:
·

Development and support for the following CIRS hardware components:

o

Image Reconstruction and Host Computers

o

Monitors

o

Peripherals including Graphic Processing Units

·

Conduct feasibility activities, prototyping, benchmarking of new hardware.

·

Provide support to Console software developers.

·

Process Engineering Change Orders.

·

Develop and maintain Roadmap for Host hardware (five year pla

n).

·

Provide total lifecycle support for these components:
o

Manufacturing and Supply Chain support for configurations still in production.

o

Installed Base support for legacy configurations.

o

Service support for all configurations.

·

Support Localization efforts.

·

Communicate status of integration activities and verification testing to all stakeholders.

·

Proactively work on process improvement ideas in the area of integration and testing.

·

Support other team members in the area of integration and testing.

Your Team:
The Common Image Reconstruction Subsystem (CIRS) group develops advanced image reconstruction and processing software for CT (Computed Tomography) scanners. These medical imaging devices are state-of-the-art, using the latest hardware acceleration techniques and the fastest multi-core processors. In this role you will work with and under the direction of the CIRS Subsystem Project Manager and Functional Manager.

Your Requirements:
·

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

·

Ability to write prototype software in order to benchmark hardware and automation scripts.

·

Experience with software development, IT/System Administration, and high speed disk arrays.

·

Passion for computer knowledge as shown by hobbies, course work, and work experience.

·

Solid understanding of computer architecture.

·

Experience with technical writing and fluent in English

·

Good communication skills including influencing and conflict resolution skills.

·

Ability to manage several efforts simultaneously (multitasking
