Job Description:
True North A/R is a high growth health care Accounts
Receivables Management company with clients in Western
United States. The company operates as a subsidiary of
EOS CCA, one of the largest accounts receivable
management companies in the United States.
Office location: Novato, California (North SF Bay)
We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a
Workers’ Compensation Legal Claims Manager located in
our Novato office. This position will be primarily
responsible for representing the interests of the
company and our clients in the litigation of disputed
Workers Compensation claims. Successful candidate must
be current on all related regulations for California
including SB-863.
The Claims Manager will also provide oversight of a team
within the Workers’ Compensation department. The
successful candidate will be a self-starter and a leader
requiring minimal supervision. This individual will
effectively manage and develop staff members, and have
exceptional client management, communication and
organizational skills.

Description of duties & responsibilities:
  • Supervises and directs the legal staff including
hearing representatives.
  • Attends court events and other appointments
independently when needed.
  • Appear at court or Board proceedings and aggressively
advocate the position of the clients
  • Interpret changes/updates to regulation, labor codes,
legislation, case law and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver updates and training materials to
meet the needs of the organization and its clients.
  • Supervision of a claims unit and other designated
staff, to include training, development, staffing
assessment and performance management
  • Ensure client retention/satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:WORK EXPERIENCE:
Hearing Representative experience with strong litigation
Claims Examiner experience
Strong understanding of Workers Compensation law and
litigation procedures.
Prior supervisory or management experience highly

school degree or GED required. Bachelors Degree and SIP
preferred. Special Skills Required: • Software: Working

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems
and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
