Job Summary

We are searching for an experienced Facilities Associate that will be responsible for assisting with furniture reconfigurations, repairs, and department moves at our Headquarters in Troy, MI.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the facilities department with projects in the Troy headquarters building.

Provide support for Special projects that are assigned to our group.

Perform furniture reconfigurations, and furniture repairs throughout the building. This includes breaking down cubicles, reconfiguring cubicles, repairing desk drawers, overhead bins, and chairs.

Assists with department moves throughout the building. This includes moving boxes, bins, cabinets, and furniture if needed.

Assist the building engineer when needed.

Assist the mailroom when needed.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to move files and equipment (75 to 100 lbs). Position requires repetitive movement and long periods of standing.

Furniture repair and insulation experience preferred.

Thorough knowledge of building equipment and aptitude for understanding mechanical systems.

Competently utilize computer software - MS Word, MS Excel and email are an integral part of day to day activity.

Aptitude to understand business policies and practices.

Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.

Ability to work under minimal supervision required.

Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:00 - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, some weekend or evening hours may be required upon business need.
