General Summary: Must be qualified to lay-out, setup and operate to exacting tolerances, milling machines, all lathes, horizontal and vertical boring mills, radial drills and precision grinders from prints, sketches and/or verbal instruction. Performance Standards (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) 1. Must be able to meet all performance standards, qualifications, and have the required knowledge and skills of Machinist Level 2.2. Machine use performance standards: 108" VTL. Set up and operation of machines.Assists in servicing and performing minor maintenance to machines.Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.Provide assistance to other operators as needed on this equipment.
