Responsibilities

The position is accountable for leading the Program Management (PM) team in the timely and high quality creation, design, and execution of monthly, seasonal, and annual marketing programs across multiple verticals and delivery channels. The position is also responsible for maximization of process flows, integration of results into continued improvement of campaign outcomes and resource planning/allocation. The position is unique in that it requires a combination of the following skills across several disciplines: strategic thinking, tactical thinking, project management, process improvement, analysis, problem solving, and internal/external team building. The position also involves leading and developing a team of supervisors and coordinators.

Leads the Program Management team in the creation, design, and execution of monthly, seasonal, and annual end-to-end marketing programs for all verticals and channels including online and offline.

Sets and manages the strategic direction, tactical plans, and resources necessary to deliver on business needs. Execute on time, with superior quality and within budget.

Teaches ownership of all functions and responsibilities so to clearly define Client Sales and client expectations while anticipating and proactively addressing potential issues.

Owns workflow processes and provides direction, tools and resources that allow for greater efficiency in timing, quality, and output. Maintain oversight of data issue resolution.

Serve as primary liaison between internal/external partners involved in the implementation/execution of marketing campaigns, including but not limited to the Account Team, Client, CIT, Retail Marketing, Legal/Compliance, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Vendors.

Maintain a strong internal and external customer focus, including the ability to think in terms of customer experience/perspective. Strive to establish a work environment conducive to the exploration of client centric solutions aimed at expanding the relationship.

Supply continuous stream of feedback to Client Sales leadership on level of team performance relative to original expectations defined through the vision and goals of Program Management. Develop and maintain an approach that filters campaign requests against objectives defined through each team’s SAM process.

Participate in Client Sales strategic planning sessions to gain insight and provide feedback on campaign trends.

Qualifications

Knowledge of marketing, especially those areas that reflect the retail/financial industry in both the offline and online environments, is critical to success. Knowledge of and well versed in processes and systems that support marketing campaign execution as well as possess a strong knowledge of project management, problem solving and process improvement. Proven skills to lead effectively in an environment that requires an appropriate mix of tactical and strategic thinking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple disciplines and levels of personnel. Superior organizational, interpersonal, collaborative, and problem solving skills. Polished presentation skills that consistently result in providing a sales perspective on insight, motivation, change management, quality, and timeliness. Ability to apply these skills in a variety of situations and sometimes without any opportunity for preparation. Excellent ability to execute or interpret diagnostic endeavors and apply outcomes to process or campaign improvement. Excellent ability to identify and pursue best in class tools, concepts, and workflows. Ability to lead and influence collaborative discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation within the team, department, and other internal/external partners. Proven ability to lead and influence teams to create smart, collaborative decisions. Ability to proactively identify potential execution pitfalls and circumvent with workable solutions. Ability to apply out-of-the-box thinking/approaches to campaigns. Ability to juggle multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced environment. Lead and develop a large team of associates.

Minimum Qualifications

:

Education

: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience

: Eight years of leadership experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Account Management, plus at least five years of project management/campaign execution experience

Desirable

: Master’s Degree, experience working with and supporting a sales organization.
