Noramco, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst located in Wilmington, DE.

Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major

worldwide producer

of medicinal analgesics, pharmaceutical intermediates and synthetic fine organic chemicals. It also produces monomers and polymers for pharmaceutical and medical devices.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for applying the principles of general and capital accounting in order to provide detailed financial information in support of a Small Molecule API manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include monthly journal activities for accruals, prepaid expenses, allocations and shared services charges, and associated account analyses. The Sr. Analyst will monitor Capital Projects activity, maintain project files, capitalize closed projects, maintain fixed assets into the SAP system and publish monthly Site Capital Activity reporting. This position provides projections for depreciation and cost center spending for all planning cycles (JU, PBP, OE, FBP, LT and strategic planning) and will complete Janssen reporting requirements such as monthly scorecards and Sharepoint submissions. This role also serves as the Sarbanes Oxley Subject Matter Expert for the Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting Cycles. Other responsibilities include business partnering with various functions in the plant, site support and interface for Ariba and Accounts Payable, and collaboration on cross-functional teams.


A minimum of a bachelors degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. A MBA is preferred. A CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred. A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries as well as public accounting is preferred. Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SAP is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint) is required. The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
