This full time position will be based out of 206 Main Street Webster, MA 01570.
A dedicated resource that is responsible for acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing customers. New customers are sourced through prospecting, referrals from centers-of-influence as well as successfully leveraging internal and external partnerships. Determines and sells appropriate product and service solutions to meet the banking needs of prospects and customers. Responsible for growing the profitability, relationship depth and retention of a portfolio of existing customers. The Specialist is responsible for driving performance within a cluster of branches or a high opportunity branch, and spends the majority of their time meeting with prospects and customers at their place of business. Focuses their time on larger small business customers and prospects and refers smaller relationships down to the Branch Manager. Reports to the Small Business Team Leader and works closely with Branch Managers to drive performance.
Actively engages in customer outreach efforts focused on acquiring new small business customers. Outreach efforts will include but not limited to lead lists, internal and external referrals, and cold calling.

Responsible for a portfolio of small business customers with
a prescribed process for contacting these customers in order to grow, retain, and improve the profitability of these relationships.
Conducts customer conversations and appointments following a prescribed sales process to effectively uncover customer needs and provide relevant solutions.
Fulfills solutions including opening deposit accounts, completing the entire loan application process and servicing the ongoing needs of customers.
Develops and maintains relationship with in-branch partners and key external business partners to increase cross-sell and achieve sales goals.
Education: Bachelors or Equivalent
Experience - At least 5 Years
Full understanding of the business credit process.
Experience in banking/financial services.
Minimum 5 years sales and relationship management experience.
Business to business sales experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of small business credit.
Excellent sales, prospecting, customer service and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of cash management products for referral opportunity.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
