Serve as Plant receptionist to the Pearl manufacturing plant, as well as provide facility-wide daily and project administrative support to all Plant departments.
Key Work Performed
Provide daily and project administrative support to Pearl Plant Manager, as well as all other Fort Madison plant departments, as needed.
Assist Human Resources with tasks and projects such as: Newhire & associate data change processing (local and corporate), frequent or large misc. typing, duplication and/or distribution projects. Receive and process associate legal garnishment services, respond to verbal applicant hiring status calls and general verification of employment calls, etc.
Input all hourly payroll, utilizing SAP payroll module weekly.
Provide weekly and monthly audit reports to the EHS&S Specialist
Update/maintain the Behavioral-Based Safety observation process and database
Coordinate arrangements for on & off-site meetings, e.g., make reservations, order food, coordinate meeting room arrangements, ensure required supplies are available, etc.
Maintain Facility Access Badge System.
Order, receive, distribute and maintain appropriate inventory of administrative and office supplies (Utilize Corporate E-store and Corporate VISA purchasing card and checks. Includes weekly online reconciliation and the company issued monthly statement.)
Assist/support Finance with AP resolutions as well as framework POs
Oversee and coordinate plant vendors (uniform, janitorial and vending services)
Direct visitors to appropriate Company contact and answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Process incoming and outgoing mail. Change network back-up tapes on a daily basis.
High School Diploma required, with additional business courses and basic knowledge of general accounting a plus.
1-3 years relative work experience.
Extensive working knowledge of Windows - MSWORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and ACCESS - minimum 50 words per minute. Experience with use of SAP.

Ability to accept work direction from multiple sources. Ability to independently prioritize work so in order to successfully meet the plant needs. Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changes in the work direction. Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact with both external and internal associates. Must also possess effective interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external issues. Must also have a proven track record of dependability and high initiative while utilizing her organizational skills. Willing to able to follow established facility guidelines, including work safety. Must have strong organizational skills. Must be able to be trusted in handling confidential associate and business information.
