The Weitz Company is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to be located out of St. Louis, MO.

Essential Duties:
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in profitably managing all administrative and field construction activities related to assigned projects. The Assistant Project Manager typically reports to the Construction Manager or to a Project Manager, depending on job assignment and supervises Project Engineers and Project Coordinators assigned to project(s). An Assistant Project Manager may be assigned overall responsibility for a small, less complex project.

Required Skills

Individual will have good project management, negotiation, communication, time management, attention to detail, leadership, judgment, client relations, tact, conflict resolution, problem-solving, personal initiative, and decision making skills.

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each previously stated duty satisfactorily. Therequirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to succeed as an Assistant Project Manager:

Education: A high school diploma is required. Industry related college degree is preferred.

Experience: Three years of project construction experience.
