Performs business analysis and process review around existing processes focusing on continuous improvement and standardization. Facilitates and gains consensus among a diverse group of stake holders to reach resolution for business processes that span multiple functions. Achieves a coordinated effort with other relevant teams on cross-functional projects involving process improvement, including system modifications. Business consulting role for internal and external clients and processes, the role looks at various processes, workflows and setups to determine root causes and improvements that can be made. Develops, manages and implements this change and maintains follow up to ensure change is working as expected and to ensure ongoing success and improvement of redesigned processes. Understands firm s strategies, business opportunities and existing processes and systems. Manage Six Sigma projects as well as other projects for any area of PAS, most often related to Client Experience, Quality initiatives and Operational Improvements. Team conducts detailed process reviews, documents detailed business requirements, develops project plans, provides analysis, develops process maps and documentation, and proposes changes to participants and managers. Team identifies, asseses and compiles data and parties for training and creates training reference tools. Works with training resources to educate internal and external users on identified or improved processes. Identifies future project opportunities. Provides periodic status reports to management. As Voice of the Customer Enterprise Management feedback tool is developed, participates in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators. Some service issues of a complex or complicated nature are escalated to this team.Compile research and analyze gathered data. Propose and implement changes to processes, etc. (including Post-implementation reviews). Communicate changes to impacted parties , including clients. Participate on projects and rollouts. Project Management , project and issue identification.Well-rounded business knowledge and expertise, as well as understanding of competitors and their tools. Considerable business experience to drive Process Improvement and understand data. Understand and apply PAS Policy and Procedures, Written Supervisory Procedures and Code of Conduct. Solid understanding of our platforms, such as, but not limited to: NetX platforms, OpsCenter, NetXInvestor, WIKI, and databases (Client, Reject, Error Account, CCMS, EDL, customer Service Database), Service Center, Workflow. Ability to learn, or already have, Project Management skills, such as creation and maintenance of project plans, work breakdown structures, providing project level reporting to senior staff in larger scale projects, facilitating testing/implementation preparation and execution.Ability to look at complex flows and processes and discern potential root causes to problems, as well as alternatives to current processes, across multiple functions . High level of attention to detail. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to see pattern in recurring problems. Strong communication skills and ability to convey message to peers and senior management.The role directly impacts the productivity and efficiency of entire PAS organization and our clients by identifying and implementing new flows and processes that are more productive, efficient and client focused. Projects align with our strategic initiatives and Focus Goals. Projects may also set strategy by identifying inefficiencies and issues.
Strong analytical skill set required to identify trends and patterns, as well as determine root causes. Must be able to convey and report on potentially unpopular news and information to parties impacted, including senior management. Requires strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal. The ability to persuade others to commit to a needed change. Ability to acquire Project Management skills. As client interaction is a key component, ability to represent the firm professionally and knowledgeably at Pershing Plaza or on site with clients is necessary, as is strong communication skills and the ability to see all facets and perspectives of an implementation. Will require negotiation, decision making, problem solving, and influencing skills in order to be successful. Planning and project organization skills are necessary. Ability to effectively prioritize, handles multiple projects effectively and deal well in high stress situations.College degree. 5+ years in the financial industry.
