Performs all phases of rationalization, design and development of Ball Valves and Check Valve product lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Rationalize products into consistent product lines to meet market requirement
Redesigns or re-engineers products to support product rationalization
Performs engineering calculations as required to create the design
Prepares and/or directs the preparation of layouts, models, drawings, documents and BOM’s for new or existing products
Conducts product design reviews per company procedure
Supports the plant disciplines with respect to manufacturing and procurement with respect to new and re-engineered designs or products the plants do not now manufacture
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME or BSMET preferred) from a 4 year University; two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This person should be knowledgeable about ball and check valves. Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment, who are self motivated, well organized with good communication skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Out Look and SAP are preferred.
