Mobile Account Executive

is looking for a dynamic, strategic, savvy Mobile Advertising Sales Professional to join our Mobile Media Sales team.
We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing client base. You must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. Team members are expected to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of the Yahoo! sales organization, and the Yahoo! value proposition to the advertising community. The ideal candidate has a proven track record Mobile Media Sales at a top Media Metrix site and strong contacts with agencies active in mobile advertising.
Candidates MUST have a deep understanding of the Mobile and Online Media and Agency business model and a strong desire to grow their sales skills. Previous experience servicing multiple Industries is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Proactively Prospect, Qualify, Grow, and Maintain account list
Engage and strategize with senior level executives at client companies to demonstrate how Yahoo! can drive revenue to their business
Hit target revenue quota (quarterly)
Pitch new business to advertising agencies and direct clients
Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information
Understand how technology works and the ability to explain in ordinary terms
Must be driven and be able to work autonomously and be comfortable with both direct selling & in supporting sales teams with RFP’s.
Update and create sales proposals.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree required
3 + yrs exp as Sales Planner or Media Buyer at a top Online Agency
5 + yrs exp Online Media Sales
3 +yrs sole focus on mobile advertising / marketing.
Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships
