This position is located in Saudi Arabia. This position assists with the demonstration performance on-the-job training for the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) radar shop personnel. The candidate will remove, repair, and replace E-3 AWACS radar system components. Must document all maintenance forms related to the E-3 AWACS radar system components. Candidate must maintain applicable tool kits and maintenance equipment. Proven ability to review and evaluate quality assurance reports and recommend corrective actions. Candidate will assist in coordinating radar shop work efforts with other RSAF logistics units. Must have a clear understanding of aircraft tool control procedures and general aircraft maintenance procedures. Must be able to understand aircraft documentation and aircraft maintenance recording. Needs to have a strong background in either a land based surveillance radar or airborne surveillance/fire control radars. USAF QA program experience and tool calibration is desired. Knowledge of aircraft wiring standards and an understanding of aircraft connectors, plus experience with waveguide technology as well as a strong foundation in basic electronics is needed. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into specifications. Must have a security clearance. Must have strong command of all Microsoft programs.
