Position Title: Field Service Tech

Location: Washington, DC

Position Status: Contract to Hire

Compensation: DOE

Position Description:
ETS provides engineering, infrastructure, and IT operations support for out client employees, sectors, and functions. The organization's 1,000 professionals serve at more than 80 facilities across the U.S. This position is for IT Field Service/hands-on desktop support for the Washington, DC Site and other DC Metro sites when required.

Communicate effectively with customers, team members and third party vendors.
Log all work via Remedy trouble ticket tracking system.
Configure computers using ImageX and LiteTouch imagine software.
Troubleshoot, repair, patch, and upgrade Windows XP/7 PCs and other peripherals.
Configure, maintain and troubleshoot printers, scanners, fax, & VTC/conference room equipment.
Troubleshoot mobile devices such as Blackberries, android, iPhone, & Ipads.
Deploy and troubleshoot VoIP phones.
Perform asset management.

Required Skills:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and third party vendors regarding technical procedures and requirements is essential.
Experience using a trouble ticket tracking system (e.g., Remedy, Maximo, Peregrine, Action Request System)
Experience with computer configuration/installation using ImageX and LiteTouch imagine software
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, patching, and upgrade of PCs and other peripherals.
Experience with configuration, maintenance and repair of printers, scanners, fax, & VTC/conference room equipment.
Experience troubleshooting mobile devices such as Blackberries, android, iPhone, & Ipads.
Experience with VoIP phones.
Experience with Asset Management (inventory/tracking of assets).
Experience with various operating system environments such as Windows XP/Windows 7/Windows 8.
Experience troubleshooting and installing the MS Office Enterprise 2007/2010 Premium suite of programs along with software applications such as MS Visio, MS Project, MS Lync.
