We are a leading financial software development and services company for the utility industry. We are searching for a Technical Writer for our web based utility financial software applications.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for developing, writing, reviewing, editing, and updating technical documentation for web based billing and accounting applications.
Documentation includes user guides, online help, training materials, installation manuals, interface specification documents and other technical software documentation materials.
Organize materials and finish the given assignment with required style or pattern, terminology, clarity and order.
Minimum Required Education & Skills:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline.
1 year of experience with writing technical documentation, (knowledge of financial software systems and Utility industry is a BIG plus)
Ability to demonstrate excellent writing, editing skills and self-edit skills.
Track record of creating documentation for a software administrator or software developer (in addition to an end user who only uses" the application).
Strong research skills and ability to understand complex technical information; ability to interview and understand subject experts.
Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and well organized.
