Supports the business evaluation of new opportunities and the formulation price, cost, and negotiation strategies. Reviews customer solicitations for pricing and costing requirements, and prepares cost proposals using historical information and inputs gathered from other functional inputs. Participates as a key proposal member and cost volume leader on proposal teams for major proposals. Participates in contract negotiations both locally and at customer locations. Assesses financial risk associated with estimates and proposals.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

4-5 years of experience in estimating, cost accounting or other relevant discipline, including experience in negotiation, use of accounting databases, and the creation of estimating models. Must have familiarity with Program Management and Engineering processes and procedures, knowledge of Department of Defense budget processes and Federal Acquisition Regulations. Must have strong MS Excel skills.
