Responsibilities include the planning, development and execution of all assigned DC engineering and cost reduction projects. The process Improvement Engineer has the task of looking for every opportunity to simplify all DC processes, take inefficiencies and related costs out of current processes and by applying engineering design support and lean methodology to identified improvement opportunities. Additional responsibilities include partnering with DC Operations and Training to provide cross functional project support. As process change ideas are implemented, the Engineers will also be responsible for creating process documentation and control plans with DC operations and training.

- Deploy lean/5SA change within and across facilities
- Lean Methodology, creates process improvement
- Managing Process Improvements
- Engineering and Maintenance support
- Preparation, Maintenance and updating all new Engineering documentation

Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Four year degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent field, MBA preferred
- Six or more years related experience
- Ability to manage a team of Industrial Engineers
- Lean experience, Black Belt Level preferred
- Operational Knowledge of Distribution or manufacturing
- Excellent communication and Front Line Leadership Skills
- Working knowledge of time study, work measurement, engineering economy, material handling, WMS
- Ability to draft Auto Cad
- Travel up to 25% - 50% is required
