Facebook is seeking an Associate to join our Safety team on User Operations. The Safety team is responsible for building the trust and engagement of our billion users by developing scaled solutions to negative site experiences, analyzing how users interact with products and each other, and delivering qualitative and quantitative insight into user behavior to the rest of the company. Solving both challenging and ambiguous problems and working to prevent them is at the core of what we do. Successful candidates for this role will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, be highly analytical, and have a track record of leading cross-functional projects. This is a full-time User Operations position, located in our Menlo Park office.
  • Develop and lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of critical initiatives
  • Inform, influence, and drive new strategies and tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support your positions
  • Develop analytics to measure performance against benchmarks
  • Partner with Engineering, Security, and Analytics to identify, influence, and execute our abuse fighting strategies and tactics while improving the user experience on the site
  • Drive change and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations inside and outside the company
  • Review and remove content that violates our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities
  • Develop new review techniques that increase efficiency and deliver better user experience
  • BA/BS degree or international equivalent
  • Strong bias for action and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Capable of thriving when faced with ambiguous problems
  • 2-4 years of professional experience preferably with a focus on strategic/analytical initiatives
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate information from multiple data sources to draw compelling conclusions
  • Must be comfortable working with highly-sensitive graphic content
  • Knowledge of Excel and SQL strongly preferred
