The IT Desktop Services Manager report to the Director of IT and provides leadership to the desktop support group in the IT Department. Responsibilities include managing staff time, assigning projects, assuring requests are handled in a timely and effecient manner and assisting with planning and implementation of new desktop technologies within the network as well as work on projects in conjunction with the IT Operations team. Must have experience in Windows XP7, hardware rollouts, security configurations such as encrypition and antivirus deployment, network configuration, TCPIP, cabling, Ghost imaging, asset management, remote support, scripting, technical documentation, Active Directory, Exchange, switching, printer support and various network topologies. Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in IT or related field, 5 years desktop support and 3 years management experience are required.
