Work with sanitation manager to develop and improve Master Sanitation Schedule
General sanitation and cleaning and maintaining proper GMP's for site
Become certified to operate a forklift in order to complete routine tasks in a safe manner. Also operate aerial lift and material movement equipment.
Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
Help manage waste removal from the site and ensure all documentation for disposal is maintained according to Mars standards.
Assist in managing waste and recycle streams for the site.
Responsible for quality and food safety.
Qualifications - External
Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education by an accredited school.
Must follow all safety and health guidelines of the plant.
Be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules.
Ability to understand and communicate in the English language.
Good basic math, reading and writing skills.
Good communication skills
Lead by example - maintain an environment of respect but create a sense of urgency
Standing on a concrete floor
Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) safety shoes, bump cap, uniform, earplugs
Bending, Stooping, twist, turn or standing for extended time periods
Able to reach, climb and lift.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
Must be able to work in confined spaces
Must be able to work at heights
3+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines
2 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline
Working Knowledge of food safety, GMP, GHOP, HACCP, SPC
Knowledge of inventory control principles
Ability to operate a forklift/OSHA certification
Experience with SAP
