We have the following positions open In our Mill Hall, PA manufacturing location:

Project Engineer

Responsibilities include but not limited to; addressing project work assignments and

manage projects from conception to completion, providing the technical expertise and

support for the development, design implementation and maintenance of mechanical

and production systems with a view toward improving production efficiency and plant

reliability, reducing manufacturing costs and improving safety standards. Additional job

duties include; preparing capital estimates and capital expenditures, preparing vendor

specifications and reviewing bids and providing recommendations based on thorough

analysis of price, quality and delivery time, ensuring applicable codes and standards are

met for all production systems, working with manufacturing departments, conducting

hazard studies, developing project schedules, implementing Management of Change and

communicating progress proactively, preparing all purchase requisitions related to

individual projects, and providing engineering assistance with all problems that occur

during construction.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 2-5 years

experience in the chemical industry. Batch processing experience preferred.

Import Purchasing Administrator

Responsibilities include but not limited to; purchasing imported materials into the Croda

Inc and Croda Canada warehouses to meet customer demands and working capital

targets and monitor ing the quality and level of imported inventory. Additional job

duties include: purchase materials from international vendors by issuing purchase orders

to international vendors to fulfill MRP requirements, ensuring order communications are

received from vendors, reviewing stock levels to ensure purchase orders stay in line with

requirements, maintaining purchasing info records in SAP, maintaining import purchase

order files in line with Customs Requirements and Crop SOPs, monitoring quality of

imported inventory by monitoring the remaining shelf life and age of imported

inventory, entering vendor complaints for quality/service issues, assisting with set up of

new materials in SAP, work with customs brokers to resolve clearance/hold issues.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related technical field. 2 -3 years

purchasing experience in the chemical industry preferred. Training on US and Canada

Import Regulations preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong

interpersonal skill. Proficient in MS Office. Previous SAP experience preferred.

Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

Responsibilities include but not limited to: performing all duties with the operational

aspect of production, including the receiving & charging of raw materials, the operation

of vessels, the extraction & packaging of finished product. All work done with

compliance to SHE guidelines, government regulations, cGMP, manufacturing packets &

process procedures, and at the direction of the controlling supervisor.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, sit or walk

for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Must be able to operate a fork truck. Must be computer

literate and demonstrate logical problem solving skills, welding & metal working.
