Edison Nation is currently seeking a creative marketing professional to join our in-house direct response television team in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities will include assisting in the creative development and execution of direct response marketing strategies for products we launch in “As Seen On TV” television campaigns.

Responsibilities will include:

The marketing professional will work closely with Director and CMO to develop the creative strategy for marketing all products (product specifications, positioning, pricing, premium selection, etc). In addition, the marketing professional will assist in developing and managing creative schedules, providing guidance and materials to Production teams, routing and trafficking creative for review, ensuring files are delivered on time to media agencies, monitoring media buys and analyzing key performance indicators to optimize performance.

Team player that can collaboratively work with designers, production teams, and developers to oversee delivery of work as needed. Also have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with management.
Must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment where you'll need to be willing to go with the flow and change your direction when needed
Be a good listener who is ready to implement accordingly
Be willing to bring fresh ideas to the table each and every week
You must have a positive attitude and take a "no excuses" approach to your work

Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Direct Response or Promotion preferred or equivalent work experience
Strong communication skills are essential with an emphasis on writing, including excellent knowledge of grammar and punctuation, and a keen eye for detail.
Creative and technical writing skills are a plus.
Ability to write copy that has the stopping power and is simple, memorable, and unique is a huge plus.
Experience with direct-response marketing, such as media buys, search engine marketing, web analytics is a plus. Knowledge of marketing metrics (e.g. CPO,CPA, CPM, conversion rate) is a plus as well.
