Then consider this rewarding position as Director of Brand Sales and Retail Marketing at leading Christian entertainment company Provident-Integrity Distribution. Directly influence our success by applying your creative ideas and highly effective communication skills to develop and implement our brand strategy.
Lead the marketing efforts of the Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment side of the business of PID. Develop merchandising (in stores) and advertising (in catalogs, etc.) strategies to sell films. Create and implement marketing/promotions plans for new and existing products, making on-the-spot decisions as needed to achieve goals.
Set priorities for expenditure of promotional dollars; develop and present films marketing budgets.
Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales objectives by effectively promoting home entertainment products and programs to CBA retailers, trade associations, and other organizations.
Review scripts/films and provide creative input to determine how the films would work best for the marketplace.
Initiate and participate in collaborative discussions with studios/labels, sales teams, and key retailers to market, sell-in, and create sell-through opportunities for home entertainment products.
Collaborating with studios, labels, and the marketing staff as appropriate, drive the process of development of retail marketing plans, new release advertisements/mailers, budgets, advertising plans and sales forecasts for home entertainment products, both for specific titles and for home entertainment in general. Oversee execution of plans to ensure implementation.
Find, communicate, and seize sales opportunities for home entertainment products; facilitate dialog with non-traditional sales channels and accounts.
Support relationships with key accounts by representing product and helping build promotions.
Monitor and report sales and marketing spending results against forecasts and budgets.
Provide regular and timely feedback concerning sales trends, account changes, buying philosophies, sales opportunities, product performance, successes and missed opportunities, and other relevant information concerning market conditions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience required; experience in Christian music distribution or films industry preferred.
Experience in sales, marketing, or entertainment marketing preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree required; emphasis in marketing preferred.
Thorough working knowledge of the CBA marketplace and retail environment required.
Strong analytical skills; ability to make sound fact-based decisions using business principles, priorities, and metrics.
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable building and fostering relationships with a wide range of people.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with superior phone skills.
