Lab Support currently has a need for a Pilot Plant Operator.
Employees will learn to prepare process units for operation, based on process conditions provided by Operations Supervisor or Engineer. Check feedstock prior to testing to ensure that the correct feedstock has been selected and that no contaminants are present. Monitor process parameters and ensure that they meet run specifications. Carefully record all information pertinent to unit operations in the logbook, and verbally communicate status of the operation to co-workers. Seek assistance from more experienced operators and/or Supervisor during operational problems or uncertainty. Perform minor unit maintenance and repair. Prepare samples for analyses as directed. Label all unit feedstocks and products completely and clearly. Perform limited analytical testing associated with pilot plant operations. •Associates degree in a science-related field.
