The focus for the position will be on a large multi-disciplinary transportation project entering the Final Design/Build phase in support of project oversight. The primary responsibility will be to assist in the flow of incoming documents (distribute, track progress, documentation). Management of documents will require a proactive and organized approach. Initially will work under close supervision. As skills and competence grow, will work under general supervision. Other responsibilities will include support to other projects.
Training and Experience
The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate from a Construction Management program with a strong desire to become familiar with the techniques and procedures associated with project controls.
- 0 - 2 years of experience required
- BS Construction Management, Construction Science, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or equivalent
- Understanding of general project management and project controls principles
- Good computer skills needed - basic spreadsheet and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal skills are required.
