The Ambulatory Licensed Nurse III is an experienced practical nurse and provides technical nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness. May give functional guidance to Ambulatory Licensed Nurse I or II, Medical Assistants, and clerical support staff.
Licensed Practice Nurse, currently licensed in Vermont.
Minimum of three years experience in an appropriate clinical setting. Demonstrates the ability to perform the skills required of an Ambulatory Licensed Nurse III.
The hours are 8:30-5 and days of the week may vary from M-Wed., Tues-Thurs, or Wed - Friday depending on clinic needs.
Preparation of Injections and assisting provider with procedure.
Assist provider with Botox procedure at Comfort Zone (Outpatient Pediatric Procedure Room) Rooming patients Obtaining prior authorizations for Imaging, medications etc.
Responsible for scheduling provider outlying clinics, Comfort Zone and other OR procedures.
Joint Commission responsibilities
Phones and some IDX scheduling
Assist in scheduling patients for specialty services.
Experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation a plus.
Experience with PRISM a plus.
