Responsibilities:
Generate and pitch ideas as a member of the creative team that develops strategic and tactical marketing campaigns for assigned record label artists. Draft marketing plans as consensus is developed among team members. Lead evaluation of effectiveness of marketing strategies and make recommendations of changes needed to respond to changing market conditions.
Serve as project manager for releases, collaborating with promotion, media, digital marketing, creative, and sales staff. Develop and oversee timelines and lead planning meetings.
Communicate label marketing plans and expectations to management and communicate management and artist expectations and goals to label staff.
Develop label marketing efforts with third-party brand partners, Evaluate and select appropriate partners. Develop relationships with partners whose goals may align with strategic plan for individual artists
Foster mutually beneficial relationships with industry trade organizations and video networks.
Communicate as needed with appropriate booking agents and business managers.
Develop measurable advertising campaigns that support the overall project goals.
Collaborate with artist teams, both internally and externally, to exploit product availability via tour visibility.
Create marketing budgets and provide budget oversight for all artist releases, meeting annual overhead and profitability targets.
Interact with Business Affairs staff regarding legal issues

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, brand management or related field with substantial exposure to a wide variety of disciplines, including brand strategy, marketing plan development, and online marketing
Experience working in a collaborative environment
Some working knowledge of digital technology, the digital music space, social media, and online marketing preferred
Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding interpersonal skills
Demonstrated presentation skills
Strong prioritizing and organizational skills and the ability to carry detailed projects through to completion
Willing to work frequent nights and weekends and available for frequent travel
