To provide advanced analytical support in the production of standardized reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Monthly Performance Reports (MPRs); to support the function manager and ad-hoc projects in the areas of Marketing Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Operational Delivery:
•Updates and produces the monthly KPI reports for all Brands within a Business Franchise (BF) (Pharma, Surgical or Vision Care). Maintains and runs the MPR, based on existing (IMS, GfK, VERIS, etc.) data feeds and data warehouse.
•Supports the Marketing Planning process by pulling data and creating ad-hoc reports/slides for Marketing Science and Brand Managers.
•Develops and maintains demand models at the brand level and provides input into Monthly Forecasting assumptions.
•Conducts return on investment analyses based on existing IMS and other syndicated data, with direction from managers (GMS and PMs).
•Adheres to formal protocols and policies for the collection, assessment, classification, storage, and dissemination of market research and competitive information in accordance with Alcon and Novartis guidelines. This includes coordination and collaboration with Novartis counterparts.
•Maintains strong vendor/consultant relationships and helps to negotiate cost effective contracts.

•Implements best practice sharing sessions in alignment with function management.
•Takes ownership of systems and processes; constantly strives to improve efficiency of work flow and operating procedures for all deliverables.

Business Partnering:
•Works closely with the Marketing Science, Forecasting and Competitive Intelligence managers to gain greater insight into the future trends for Alcon brands.

People & Organizational Development:
•Trains and mentors junior analysts within the function.
•Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training modules for Report Generation.

Minimum requirements
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced business degree (MBA) highly preferred.
Experience:
•Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant consulting, financial or market research analyst experience.
•Demonstrated steady career progression with increasing roles of responsibility.
•Excellent working knowledge of secondary research data. Experience with secondary Rx and/or claims data is preferred.
•Superior analytical and financial forecasting skills.
•Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner with a high attention to detail.
•High personal integrity and ethics with uncompromising standards.
•Excellent intra/inter personnel and communciation skills.
•Fluency in both spoken and written English.
