Review, analyze and report on global hotel performance to senior and executive management. Work closely with operating regions to maintain consistency and develop recommendations for new initiatives. Train and supervise department members on hotel operations, Hyatt systems, and performance analysis. Ensure timely and accurate completion of global reporting and systems data.
The primary job responsibilities are:
Determine standards for global reporting and develop key performance metrics to evaluate hotel performance.
Provide insight and analysis to senior management on monthly, quarterly and annual operating results. Identify key operating trends to be discussed in Quarterly Business Reviews.
Support Financial Planning & Analysis, Investor Relations, and Corporate Consolidations in matters of hotel performance and analysis.
Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and effectively implement change. Work closely with business units and systems administrators to coordinate efforts.
Provide recommendations for policy changes that will drive global consistency and reporting accuracy.
Manage financial and operational reporting structures to ensure consistent and accurate reporting. Maintain governance over financial reporting systems.
Supervise, train and coordinate the efforts of departmental analysts.
Monitor performance of new hotels and portfolio transactions.
Monitor leading indicators to identify opportunity or risk to global forecasts.
Supervise the accuracy and timeliness of global data movements and reporting.

5-7 years of experience in hotel operations, accounting or statistical/financial analysis.
Experience with both hotel operations and corporate oversight is preferred.
BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance or Hospitality required.
Strong financial systems experience and Microsoft Excel proficiency are critical
Strong PC skills with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint is required.
Experience with Hyperion is preferred.
Candidate should also possess strong analysis, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills.
Individual must be able to recommend and implement process improvements, handle multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and demonstrate the ability to interact with various levels within the organization.
