The Clinical Dietitian develops and maintains nutritional care to the hospitalized patients, as well as, the outpatient population according to the physicians' diagnosis. Nutritionally assesses patients within appropriate timeframe in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Exercises independent judgment under the general supervision of the Nutritional Services Director.
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Food and Nutrition.
Masters degree desirable.
Commission on Dietetics Registration - Registered Dietitian or Registry Eligible
Serv-Safe Certified preferred
Licensed by the State of Alabama as a Dietitian/Nutritionist
