15 positions for June 3-August 9, 2013 Aim for the Stars Camp. May work from one week to several weeks during the camp. Salary will vary depending on qualifcations and if teaching or counseling ($450-$900 per camp week(s) worked).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Employee • will interact with children ages 8-16 in a science/math camp setting • may participate in activities such as robotics, biology experiments, mathematics activities, etc. • is responsible for providing or supporting activities and lessons that are fun, enriching and enlightening • monitor and attend to classroom management. This position may include from 1- 6 weeks during the summer at 40 hours per week. Employee • will provide camp director with list of weeks available to work • will work with camp director to plan supplies and field trips. There is written curriculum for each camp. It is expected that the curriculum be followed.

Additional Duties:

Employees hired for a teaching week must also attend Family Night on Thursday nights. Employees hired for a counseling week must assist in organizing camp supplies for the particular camp you are assigned and engage in lunchtime activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be outgoing and friendly. Must have an interest in science and/or math. Must be able to work with a range of school children and multiple teachers.

Able to work well with others and be dependable. Experience working at Aim for the Stars helpful. CPR and AED certificate for adult and child helpful but not required.
