Our customer is seeking a Telecom Analyst.

Responsibilities :
Responsible for telecommunication billing programs relating to programming, installations, and network and wireless services

Assist in the vendor negotiation process

Service Manage various long term programs

Serve as a the first line contact for telecommunication vendors

Identify and investigate irregularities in charge trends and partner with appropriate team(s) to implement changes as applicable

Manage the processing, analysis and payment of telecommunication expenses, including network and wireless services

Maintain accurate database and process telecommunications invoices

Tracking and resolution of billing disputes/discrepancies with various vendors

Track expense avoidance/reduction opportunities based upon monthly billing data

Create and maintain reports for billings, disputes and trends on a monthly basis

Provide additional support to manage associated or team related projects, as needed

Adhere to the methods, policies, and procedures set by the IS department

Other duties as required

Qualifications :
Understanding of the appropriate interaction of electronic communications, information and business systems

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Understanding of the Healthcare Industry and the technology available to support its telecommunications needs

2 years telecommunication experience; preferably in telecommunication expense management

2 years experience performing detailed analysis and problem resolution

Previous experience troubleshooting telecommunication billing issues and service agreements is preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word and have experience using database applications
