The Department of Radiology at Loyola University Medical Center seeks candidates for a faculty position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The full time position will be shared equally between Loyola University Medical Center and our affiliated Hines Veteran’s Administration hospital. Responsibilities include providing professional medical services including the interpretation of General and Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT procedures, and therapy as part of a comprehensive nuclear medicine clinical practice group that performs over 12,000 exams annually.
Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in Research, Education, and Clinical Care. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or American Board of Radiology with special competence in Nuclear Medicine. The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills with expertise in the field of Nuclear Medicine, Clinical Molecular Imaging and experience with cross sectional imaging as it applies to SPECT/CT and PET/CT. In addition, ability to meaningfully participate and contribute to a research program and a commitment to high quality teaching in our Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Residency training programs is expected.
