The Corporate Finance group within Treasury manages the corporate finance activities for the Corporation and its subsidiaries including capital planning, capital allocation, liquidity management, dividends, capital markets transactions, rating agency relationships, bank credit relationships, and lease/buy decisions. In addition, this group coordinates reporting for the Corporate Asset-Liability and Pricing Committee ('ALCO') and other balance sheet-related reporting.
Brief Description of Role:
As the new senior manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Treasury's contributions to the annual capital plan and capital and liquidity stress testing for Schwab's parent holding company, bank, and broker-dealer entities.
o Bachelor's degree required, MBA or post-graduate degree preferred.
o Requires 5-7 years of experience in financial or business positions.
o The ideal candidate will have the following: A thorough knowledge of finance and accounting; excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to details; ability to retrieve and analyze data sets; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to build cross-organizational relationships; demonstrated ability to easily shift between detailed and a big picture focus; ability to manage numerous projects and priorities.
o Knowledge of banking and brokerage regulations is a plus.
o Knowledge of and experience in corporate finance, capital, financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting is preferred.
o Knowledge of US regulatory risk based capital rules, and Basel III is highly desired.
