The position is responsible for design, implementation (alongside outsource vendors) and project leadership in line with direction from the Senior Director Infrastructure and Technology. The position is responsible for current and future technologies across hotel and Corporate locations. The position will liaise with vendors to ensure applications and hardware is installed to Hilton standards and documented accordingly. The position will have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft, Anti-Virus, ONQ, Fidelio, Telepresence, Video Conference, Wireless technologies. The position will also need indepth hardware knowledge from vendors such as Cisco, HP, Apple and IBM. The position will also require strong knowledge of ALL Hilton application that touch either hotel or Corporate locations. The position will require strong 3
party vendor relationship knowledge including being able to present to Field Service and internal Corporate customers on new initiatives and activities. The position will be expected to be able to lead projects from a technology viewpoint including the production of documentation that can be used on a global estate. Budget responsibility within a project and providing Capex and Opex information through budget season will be expected. The position will work closely with Field service leadership team, Enterprise Security and Corporate teams to ensure standards are delivered effectively alongside relevant outsourced vendors. The position will ensure full compliancy is maintained alongside Enterprise security and field service teams. The position will be an escalation point for the outsourced vendor in the hotel and Corporate environment. The position will be expected to play a key role in the Certification committee for the Hotel and Corporate environment to ensure any new or updated product is correctly position into the global hotel & Corporate enterprise.

What will I be doing?
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Provides guidance and technical leadership on Hotel infrastructure to development teams and product owners
Writes technical business documents such system architectures
Close relationship with Field and Corporate teams to develop solutions for hotel & corporate locations
Works closely with Global network team
Strategic planning related to hotel and Corporate environments across global enterprise
Assists in establishing procedures and processes in relation to the architecture group
Monitors the hardware and software markets places to identify best practices to implement with hotel systems
Project leadership for cross functional projects that involve hotel infrastructure components.
Works with all architecture departments and confers as appropriate with key stakeholders and departments so objectives are accomplished.
Evaluates and streamlines business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
Provide guidance and review with Vendor teams assisting with implementation into our hotels

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Minimum of three (3) years working in Hotel industry defining and setting IT Technology standards
Minimum of three (3) years working knowledge of Wintel servers (HP/IBM), Switches (HP/Cisco/3Com), TCPIP, DHCP, Citrix and Terminal Server. Patching Systems
Minimum of three (3) years Anti-Virus and security
Minimum of three (3) years experience of local Area networks at Corporate and Hotel locations
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Knowledge of hotel-based IT systems, including OnQ/Fidelio
Knowledge of Video Conferencing systems
Knowledge of VOIP systems
Knowledge of hotel clustering
Minimum of two (2) years experience working with PCI Auditors
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration / Equivalent in country)
