Asset Management Solutions - GMAG, Analyst
The Global Multi-Asset Group (GMAG) Analyst is critical to the support of the various lines of business. GMAG manages approximately $76 billion globally across traditional balanced, tactical asset allocation and total return products. The GMAG Analyst will be a key component of the Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team and will work to support the CPMs in their day-to-day responsibilities of product management, portfolio management and market communications, and client servicing across retail and fund relationships. Key areas of focus for this role will be supporting our efforts within the mutual fund and sub-advisory area.
Your responsibilities will include:
Internal product manager - support relationships with sales channels; serve as initial point of contact for questions from internal and external client advisors
Backup - when client portfolio managers are not in the office, backup is required to ensure full coverage at all times. This will require fielding calls from relationship managers, sales people and clients and responding appropriately.
Presentation materials - you will be the point person for maintenance and development of marketing materials. Your input and initiative will be critical as you will be expected to craft creative solutions for client issues. You will be partnering with marketing in conjunction with portfolio managers and CPMs to develop and revise materials as appropriate.
Request for Proposals (RFPs) and questionnaires - Responsible for drafting initial responses to client deliverables including RFPs and monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc questionnaires. You will work with client advisors, their sales associates, institutional marketing and RFP writers to craft answers that highlight GMAG's main competitive advantages.
Competitive Analysis - gather, analyze, and maintain a warehouse of information about our industry peers and their competitive products.
The environment is fast-paced and demanding. All candidates must have at least one year of financial industry experience, preferably in Asset Management.

Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint: filtering databases, navigating pivot tables, creating and maintaining client presentations
Working knowledge of multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income and real estate
Strong quantitative aptitude
Passage of Series 7 & Series 63 are required within 6 months
Interest in pursuing CFA is desirable; possible sponsorship after one year
Undergraduate degree is required
