Associate Product Manager – Ultrafiltration

EMD Millipore, a leader in providing products and services to the biopharmaceutical industry, is seeking an Associate Product Manager for its Ultrafiltration Franchise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will manage products within the Ultrafiltration Franchise and support our Product Management group with activities directly related to management and maintenance of product lifecycle. This position requires a high degree of interaction, with Product Managers, R&D, Marketing Communications, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Field Operations and external partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Manage select products within the Ultrafiltration Franchise.

Assist in marketing activities related to new product development and launch.

·

Assist, develop and maintain sales tools including: online database, power points, and collateral.

·

Support product changes and obsolescence through the preparation of notifications to customers.

·

Preparation of reports to periodically assess performance of product lines (annually and as needed)

SKILLS

  • Ability to multitask and deliver results in a fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Firm understanding of basic marketing concepts such as product life cycle and product positioning.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully work with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and present materials appropriate to the level of audience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals and basic business reports preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer software in a business environment including Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10%.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be self motivated, energetic, organized, and results oriented with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Science or Business. Prior work experience/internship in the biotechnology industry and a familiarity with biotechnology, biological processing and regulatory

requirements preferred.
