Marketing Analytics/Modeler, Syndicated Data, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)- Leading, well-known, consumer packaged good firm seeks a statistical modeler to implement Global Marketing Intelligence projects.
The incumbent will be responsible for investigation, analysis, documentation and reporting on key business drivers of the organization. Will also work with local market personnel through facilitation, monitoring and implementation of strategic initiatives and operating plans.
Utilize information from multiple internal and external sources to provide data and analytical support for annual business plans and global/regional marketing & sales initiatives such as field effectiveness and global incentive spend optimization.
Initiate longer term projects in support of the Global Sales Model Evolution including compensation and span of control models.
Minimum 3+ years experience in related business field (client or supplier) or 3+ years of supporting Marketing at a Consumer Products Goods (CPG) manufacturer
BS in Statistics, Marketing Science or Economics. Masters in Stats preferred.
Solid foundational marketing research skills in qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis.
Ability to understand business issues and synthesize marketing research data from multiple sources.
Strategic thinker with analytical skills. Proven ability to influence Commercial
Marketing and Field Sales decision-making through fact-based insights.
CRM, Web analytics, Omniture, B2C experience a plus
Proven expert in managing and delivering Price Elasticity Analysis, Promotion Lift Modeling, In-market Test/Control design and evaluation, and syndicated Household panel solutions.
Blend of syndicated analytic modeling experience and ability to manage internal clients.
Demonstrated ability to creatively develop analytic solutions given firm'::s unique business model and 'non-standard' data.
Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
