The Equity Derivatives Trade Support Analyst role sits within the desk-aligned function of the Equity DMO. This role provides direct support to the Flow Derivatives desks within the Equities business which requires a thorough understanding of cash and derivative products and markets. This unique opportunity provides direct exposure to Equities business leaders and allows for the individual to represent operations in a highly challenging and collaborative environment. We are looking for a proactive, responsible, and dedicated individual that is able to work and communicate effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment.
The primary responsibilities of this role are:
Ensure flawless, accurate, and timely trade capture.
Monitor intersystem reconciliations and various controls across the business.
Provide operational insight for process mapping of New Business Initiatives being driven by front office.
Liaise with other Operations teams including Client On-boarding, P&S, Client Support, CPU, JRU, DSG, and ETD to manage queries and resolve issues.
Effectively manage queries from other departments including Market Risk, Credit Risk, Product Control, and IT.
Develop relationships with counterparts in EMEA and APAC in order to implement best practices approach.
Strengthen relationships with front office by providing superior client service and regularly seeking feedback.
Drive continuous improvement within the role. Deliver quantitative results.
Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively to all audiences.
Monitor the timely processing of Lifecycle Management of non-vanilla products.
Increase RFT (Right First Time) by continuously monitoring and improving the Systemic and Behavioural root causes across FO, IT, and Ops.
Increase STP (Straight through Processing) rate of all products by actively engaging IT and Ops Change teams.
Adhere to escalation procedures within Equity DMO.
Strong client service skills and awareness.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
