Provides analytical and project support as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Project Management Office (PMO) function supporting the Do Not Pay (DNP) and Financial information Repository (FIR) projects delegated from the US Treasury. Demonstrates established skills in collecting, tracking, and analyzing data related to project costs, budget, and status. Supports other project groups, such as the application delivery team and Project Management staff, and completes various ad hoc projects as assigned.
Manages or conducts projects related to establishing new processes or implementing operational improvements, as well as the creation of new procedures and policies. Develops recommendations and makes presentations to management and staff. Trains others on new procedures and policies.
Collects and analyzes data or information, draws appropriate conclusions, and presents results in written reports or through oral presentations using visual aids as needed.
Participates in and provides support to weekly project conference calls, ad hoc meetings, Management Steering Group (MSG) meetings, and requirements gathering sessions (e.g., meeting material/presentation creation, meeting notes/minutes, tracking of action items, leading calls, etc.).
Participates in budget related activities such as developing and monitoring expense and capital budgets, compiling data, monitoring expenses, responding to inquiries, providing documentation, explaining variances, and providing rationale and recommendations.
Coordinates, compiles, and finalizes drafting the business line’s Three Year Plan.
Monitors status, identifies trends, and prepares reports on quality measures, performance metrics, or other goals and objectives.
Designs management information reports, tools, and systems.
Manages, coordinates, or conducts activities related to identifying and managing risks, including developing procedures for and coordinating the completion of various access reviews. Ensures access review procedures and records are current.
Drafts Professional Service Agreements (PSAs) for contracted staff, as well as PSA amendments and Statements of Work (SOWs). Tracks adherence to contract financial terms.
Participates in Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and other procurement activities as assigned.
Leads or completes ad-hoc projects and/or assignments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Strong knowledge of budget and accounting principles and systems; knowledge of the Federal Reserve System’s Planning and Control System (PACS) accounting processes preferred.
Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail programs.
