Performs inside sales, purchasing, shipping and receiving inventory and manages customer property inventory for various field operations locations.
High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent working experience.
Three to five years of wellhead experience with FMC or outside wellhead training.
Must be detail oriented. Must be people oriented and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
FMC Operating Procedures and Quality Manual. START Safety training, American Petroleum Institute (API) training, basic support system training.
Number of direct / indirect reports.
Indicate internal/external contacts and purpose of contacts.
Works with MFT, warehouse, shipping and receiving and Field Sales Reps to make sure equipment arrives at location on time to satisfy customer needs. Contact with customer to receive and relay information regarding upcoming jobs such as status of equipment that needs to go out.

Work is checked by doing pre-job inspections and pre-job checklist. Failure to perform these pre-job inspections/checklist may result in the wrong equipment being delivered to location or not being delivered on time which may cause rig down time. Rig down time will lead to loss of revenue or even loss of the customer.

Spends 80% of time in a temperature controlled office environment. Spends 20% of time in shop and may be exposed to possible hazards including high noise, heavy machinery and shop traffic.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Identify the major duties and tasks accomplished by this position.
Maintains Customer Property (C/P) inventories.
Receives C/P into the system, uses C/P inventory first when customer places sales order, performs physical inventory counts to ensure system accuracy.
Maintains remanufacturing and new inventory and performs physical inventory counts to ensure system accuracy.
Takes inside sales calls from customer, writes up sales orders to be entered into the system.
Enters sales orders for replenishment parts from Houston plant.
Enters and files work orders for inventory.
Maintains and ensures that all well files are complete and concise.
Participates in the on-call rotation for Warehouse and Service Calls.
Performs work in a safe manner and practices good housekeeping procedures.
Ensures that ISO and API guidelines are followed.
