The RN position will work in collaboration with the physicians to provide care to patients and ensure the efficient delivery of medical services. Responsible for patient triage and education, assisting physicians during office hours and follow-up on prescriptions, procedures and tests. Must be capable of working with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.


Assists in the assessment of patient by taking vital signs, blood pressure, patient history, medication listing, and determining chief complaint. Efficiently document patient information such as problem list, meds, etc. in electronic medical records system (EMR).

Performs EKGs as directed by physician.

Prepares equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams and medical procedures. Assists with patient teaching and instructions.

Triages patients to determine which are emergencies and provide immediate support if deemed necessary.

Assist in the development and documentation of patient care protocols and procedures and patient education materials. Compile a

Demonstrates awareness of compliance and regulations governing the delivery of care.



Registered nurse with a current Tennessee license. Must acquire ACLS certification within one year of employment.

Minimum of 1 year cardiac experience

required, triage office experience is preferred. Must be able to assess, interpret, and appropriately react to key data about a patient's status.
