This position is responsible for ensuring that our seasonal and promotional merchandise is in the right stores at the right time in order to maximize sales and instocks while optimizing inventory buys. This position will develop and co-own the unit forecast and inventory levels, with the Vendor Replenishment Team, for approximately $250-500M in annual sales volume.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analyze upcoming promotional and seasonal events with Merchant partners to determine incremental inventory needs to support and drive sales for each event
•Derive event inventory flow plans with Replenishment, the Vendors, Transportation, and Distribution, to order and deliver product on time to our stores
•Identify opportunities to develop and apply seasonal inventory build strategies (e.g. seasonal profiles) to specific products and/or locations to drive improvement in sales and instocks
•Actively communicate event strategies and details to required parties including Merchandising, Supply Chain, Store Operations, etc to drive strong execution
•Provide detail inventory volume visibility to our business partners for each event. This will drive increased accuracy and efficiency in planning and budgeting Supply Chain and Store labor
•Drive continued process and reporting improvements for planning and delivery of promotional/seasonal events
•Responsible for creating and updating weekly status reports for all assigned demand planning events. Reports to include metrics for Event Sell Though, Event Instocks, Event Inventory, etc.
•Manage a number of system audits and databases to ensure replenishment parameters are accurately setup and maintained
Experience/Education Required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Retail required
•1- 2 years of retail replenishment/planning and/or supply chain management experience is preferred
•Experience actively using replenishment/planning systems (e.g. DPR, SAP, E3, Retek, etc.) required preferred
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to drive creative business solutions
•Solid leadership abilities to drive and develop strategies with cross functional teams
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
