Our Client, an innovative leader in fertilizer technology and nutrient management solutions, is seeking an experienced salesman to focus on the Turf, Ornamental and Specialty Crop business development in the Florida and South East markets.
This role will be responsible for leading efforts in developing relationships with Turf and Ag Retail Distributors through Florida and surrounding states to set up distribution of their primary fertilizer product.
As the Regional Sales and Business Development Representative for Florida and the South East, one must possess the following experience and criteria:
Minimal of a 4 year degree, preferably in an Agriculture, Horticulture or Agronomy specialty
Have a minimum of 5 years of successful sales history in the area
Lives in Florida
Has a strong network of contacts in Ag Retail Distribution as well as the Turf/Horticulture industry in Florida and the South East
Strong drive to manage a territory and get out and sell
Experience selling a value added product, not just selling on price
Experience launching a new product into a market would also be preferred
